2020/07/23

With a large industrial network and recognised experience in the most noble materials, Gainerie 91 is a packaging partner of choice in the ultra-luxury segment. Combining expertise and innovation is at the heart of its approach as evidenced by its initiatives for the next generation of designers …

For the past two years, Gainerie 91, a leading international group in the manufacture of display cases, point-of-sale displays, and boxes for all luxury sectors (perfume, fine jewellery, watches, wine and spirits) has partnered with the Institut Sainte-Geneviève. Concretely, the 22 students currently studying for the DN MADE (National Diploma in Arts and Design) had until December 2019 to deliver an innovative packaging project for the luxury sector using environmentally responsible materials. ‘We selected four projects and we are going to prototype two which will be unveiled at our booth at the Edition Spéciale’, announced Arnaud Haefelin, Group CEO, who stressed how this partnership brings ‘new ideas’ to packaging.

The show will also be an opportunity to present the finalists of the Gainerie 91 design competition, the prizes of which will be awarded on 18 June at the Rodin Museum. Open to all students and recent graduates, its theme this year is sustainable luxury with a panel of representatives of major luxury brands. ‘We are convinced that the future of our profession lies in the alliance of traditional skills and new environmental needs’, concluded Arnaud Haefelin.
