Introduce your company in a few words 

Geapack (www.geapack.eu) deals with sustainable packaging, and in particular :

 

1)      Primary or secondary cardboard packaging: folding cartons, boxes, sleeves, displays, made from cardboard and corrugated cartons

We use materials made from renewable sources, with a low environmental impact, and in particular:

– Natural papers made with grass

– Papers made with agricultural waste (citruses, olives, coconuts, grapes, cherries, lavender, corn, kiwi, hazelnuts, coffee, wheat straw, canvas, cotton, …..)

– Seaweeds

– Tree free papers, made by alternative sources as sugar cane, bamboo, cotton, …

– Papers made using waste of the textile industry, cotton or wood fabrics

– Papers made using waste of the leather manufacturing

– 100% recycled papers

– Etc…

 

2)      Primary packaging in biodegradable/compostable plastic

Bottle and jars biodegradable/compostable made from renewable plant-based sources such as starch, sugar, and vegetable oils

 

While having a lower impact on the planet, by using these materials our customers can communicate in an effective and immediate way the sustainable features of their products, by using a packaging which is itself prominently sustainable.

 

What sustainable innovation will you be presenting at the show ?

We are going to show a number of cardboard and bioplastic examples of the above packaging
