Shellworks is a London-based premium packaging company developing truly sustainable alternatives to conventional plastics. We design and create packaging solutions engineered to manage their own end of life, so you and your customers don’t have to worry about it.

Founded in 2019 by Insiya Jafferjee and Amir Afshar, the company is built on a strongly design-led approach. The team combines world-class manufacturing with a “design-first” mindset to create products that are better than plastic.

At Shellworks, we believe the best formulations deserve clean packaging, free from plasticizers and persistent “forever chemicals.” Our material, Vivomer, made without fossil-based plastic, delivers a premium shelf appearance with a 3-year stability and fully degrades without generating microplastics in any environment.
