What is S.Lab ?

S.Lab creates sustainable packaging from agricultural waste and mycelium, helping businesses grow responsibly. With its proprietary production technology, S.Lab adapts to demand, making plant-based packaging both scalable and impactful.

How is their packaging an alternative to plastic ?

S.Lab produces biodegradable packaging from plant waste and mycelium, fully replacing polystyrene (foamed plastic). Their packaging matches plastic in thermal insulation and water resistance, but fully decomposes in soil within 30 days.

How is their production structured ?

Not only do they have an automated production line, but they are also scaling it up with compact mini-factories. This will give SMBs a flexible and efficient packaging solution on site.

What will visitors discover at the Edition Spéciale trade show ?

Visitors will discover premium mycelium-based packaging for beauty, fashion, electronics, decor and self-care sectors. They will also have an opportunity to explore their modular mini-factory concept — an automated unit enabling on-site production of fully customisable biodegradable packaging.

What are their certifications ?

They have successfully passed a third-party audit by L’Oréal. Additionally, they are currently in the process of obtaining the OK Home Compost certification from TÜV Austria.
