As we are constantly looking for new sustainable materials, we are offering a revolutionary paper that requires no water, chemicals, or trees to manufacture it.
This paper has unique characteristics. It is naturally:
- water repellent: which avoids having to laminate it
- tear-proof: making it very strong
- fully recyclable: reducing the product’s end-of-life impact. The product is almost infinitely recyclable compared to a maximum of five times for conventional paper
- ecological: low CO2 emissions. Around 480 kg eq CO2 is emitted for the manufacture of one tonne of the product compared to around 1,500 kg eq CO2 for conventional paper. In addition, no water is required to manufacture it compared to around 500,000 litres for one tonne of paper
- Low energy consumption: approximately 800 kWh are required to manufacture one tonne of the product compared to over 5,000 kWh for the same quantity of paper pulp.
