Tilkal’s traceability platform aims to build trust within the supply chain.
! NEW !

Tilkal, a French company, is dedicated to analyzing supply chain data to improve transparency around the production methods of raw materials and packaging. This solution provider, active with clients in the leather, cosmetics, and chocolate sectors, will present its offering at Edition Spéciale by LUXE PACK, taking place in Paris in July 2025.
Major brands generally have a clear understanding of their tier 1 suppliers, a bit less of tier 2, and little to no knowledge of those at tier 3… This is what led Matthieu Hug to create his supply chain traceability and transparency platform, Tilkal, in 2017. Regulations were becoming increasingly stringent, particularly in Europe. Organizations such as Action for Sustainable Derivatives, which collectively tackle supply chain issues related to palm oil, and the Responsible Mica Initiative, promoting a responsible and sustainable mica supply chain, also raised awareness among companies and consumers. Hug saw a business opportunity in this. “The World Economic Forum has also produced reports highlighting that the lack of supply chain information poses a risk to companies. But this risk can be mitigated by collecting and analyzing high-quality data,” he notes.
