Cotton Blue reinvents responsible promotional accessories

In the world of packaging, some companies have specialised in promotional accessories, also known as swag. This is the case of Cotton Blue, which will be exhibiting at Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack for the first time in 2023 with many new and eco-designed objects, such as the KompAct.
Imagine a coin tray made from genuine leather dyed with natural pigments (plant and vegetable). Seamless, it comes flat-packed and is easy to assemble. But above all, it is endlessly customisable: size, colour, and, of course, so is its message! This makes the KompAct an original and high-quality promotional accessory. This new item is offered to brands as a bonus gift to boost product offer value and ensure long-term brand value. Cotton Blue has made it a sustainable accessory that will be very useful for the end customer by meeting their daily need for storage, whether at home or on the move.
In short, a ‘low carbon’ design, for guaranteed promotional impact! The KompAct perfectly illustrates the formula that Cotton Blue applies in its offer by activating three key levers: an eco-responsible material to minimise the product’s overall environmental impact; a useful and functional design for long-term use; and an innovative approach responding to trends to surprise and create value in the packaging world.
Since its creation in 1998, Cotton Blue has worked with major French and international brands. Its dedicated product team works directly with international designers and buyers who are passionate about capturing trends and changing social expectations to meet the needs of end customers. ‘We are more than ever driven by the need to bring value to invent or reinvent useful and environmentally friendly products that can support growth and boost customer loyalty without lowering value or deteriorating resources’, stated Hugues Dhellemmes, founder of Cotton Blue.
Bearing this in mind, the company has made changes in its operation. It works with a qualified and audited supplier base (BSCI, SA 8000, SEDEX, etc.), it locates sourcing in France and Europe, and it uses responsible materials wherever it can (natural origins, fully or partially recycled w/GRS, Bio w/GOTS, Oekotex). Cotton Blue is also committed to an internal certification process (ISO 9001, 14 0001, Oekotex, EcoVadis, etc.) and technical training of its teams on materials and labels.
