This is the story of a virtuous partnership between AMC Industrie, a family-owned French company based in Ferrières-en-Gâtinais specializing in technical foam solutions, and Cruz Foam, a California-based company dedicated to biodegradable materials.

For 40 years, AMC Industrie has been transforming and cutting various types of foam to produce high-tech components, including protective packaging for the luxury industry.
Meanwhile, Cruz Foam manufactures a
circular foam made from 70% recycled agricultural food waste and biopolymers that are fully digestible by nature. This bio-foam, an innovative alternative to polystyrene and polyethylene, decomposes in just 103 days and is already being used in electronics, food, and home appliances.

Their collaboration addresses a critical realization for brands: no matter how exceptional and sustainable a product is, if it is packaged in an environmentally harmful material, all efforts are compromised.
At the Edition Spéciale by LUXE PACK trade show, AMC Industrie and Cruz Foam will showcase their sustainable circular packaging solutions. AMC Industrie integrates Cruz Foam’s patented, regenerative, compostable foam—made from agricultural waste—into its new protective padding solution. 100% biodegradable, this foam is set to become essential for the luxury, cosmetics, wine & spirits, and glassware industries. It can take on multiple forms, from box inserts, cases, and presentation displays to protective padding for fragile items during transport.
