Papeteries du Léman Wins the Green Award with Its Micro-Perforated Tissue Paper.
At Édition Spéciale by LUXE PACK 2026, the Green Award was presented to Papeteries du Léman for its innovative micro-perforated tissue paper solution, Dentelle de Soie. Voted for by visitors on June 17, 2026, the award recognizes the most outstanding sustainable packaging initiative among the many entries competing this year.
A specialist in ultra-thin papers based in the Haute-Savoie region of France, Papeteries du Léman has developed Dentelle de Soie, a solution entirely manufactured in France and made from textile by-products, without the use of chemical additives. Inspired by the delicate aesthetics of lace, this micro-perforated tissue paper combines environmental performance with refined design.
Among the other finalists, Renature showcased Phyli, a patented material developed as an alternative to leather and polyurethane, with applications including bottle coverings, gift boxes, and labels. Meanwhile, start-up Injectose highlighted its recyclable cellulose fiber-based material, compatible with injection molding processes and capable of producing complex shapes for packaging applications.
