Van Genechten Packaging strengthens its presence in Northern Europe with a €10m investment in Latvia

Secondary packaging supplier VG Kvadra Pak JSC inaugurated the expansion of its production facility in Riga, Latvia, on March 10, 2026. This upgrade is the result of a €10 million investment by its parent company, Van Genechten Packaging.
Demonstrating its commitment to Latvia as a strategic manufacturing location, the Belgian group Van Genechten Packaging (VGP) has thus completed this €10 million investment in its cardboard packaging subsidiary, VG Kvadra Pak JSC.
“This project further strengthens our presence in the Baltic and Scandinavian regions while complementing VGP’s network in Eastern Europe. Our goal is to offer even greater flexibility and the highest level of service to our customers. At the same time, we will contribute to the local economy and create new employment opportunities,” said Roberts Vasilevskis, General Director of VG Kvadra Pak JSC.
