Raiku selected by L’Oréal to join its sustainable innovation accelerator, L’AcceleratOR
Beauty giant L’Oréal has announced the first cohort of start-ups and SMEs selected to join its sustainable innovation accelerator program, L’AcceleratOR. With a budget of €100 million, the initiative places a strong emphasis on packaging and ingredient-related challenges.

Launched in 2025, L’Oréal’s L’AcceleratOR program aims to identify, test, and scale disruptive solutions within the beauty industry. Backed by €100 million in funding over five years, it is run in partnership with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). The 13 selected companies were revealed on January 14, 2026, from a pool of nearly 1,000 applications spanning 101 countries. They will notably have the opportunity to launch pilot projects over a six- to nine-month period, with the potential to scale their solutions globally across the L’Oréal Group.

The accelerator is structured around four key focus areas: packaging and materials, ingredients, circularity, and data solutions.
