Created ten years ago, Lactips specializes in the production of a natural polymer that is 100% bio-based, water-soluble, and biodegradable. It is a plastic without plastic, made from milk proteins, addressing environmental challenges and intended for the packaging, labeling, agriculture, and outdoor activity sectors.
The project was born from research conducted by Frédéric Prochazka, PhD, a teacher-researcher at the University of Saint-Étienne. It became a full-fledged industrial company in 2022, with the opening of its first production unit and the arrival of Alexis von Tschammer, appointed Chief Executive Officer, as well as Bertrand Dupeyroux, appointed Sales and Marketing Director.
