3 questions for Hervé Delaigue, Sales and Development Director at G. Pivaudran

What is your company’s speciality?
G.Pivaudran designs and produces innovative aluminium parts for the perfume, cosmetics and spirits markets. In 2020, the company obtained the EPV (Enterprise du Patrimoine Vivant – Living Heritage Company) label and was selected as part of the France Relance et Territoires d’Industrie scheme. g.pivaudran is a 100% family-owned company and is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. It is located in Souillac, Lot, France where it is one of the main employers. In 2022, g.pivaudran employed 200 people across two sites (15,000 m²) and generated turnover of €27.5 million.
What must-see sustainable packaging innovation will be at your stand in 2023?
At ÉDITION SPÉCIALE by Luxe Pack, g.pivaudran will present products produced with customers and/or prototypes of designs that highlight aluminium. For example, we will have pieces designed with a very thin, 100% recycled aluminium ballast instead of a steel ballast. This ballast can be stamped, moulded or punched and therefore offers great flexibility in the design of the parts. In terms of sustainable packaging innovation, we will also present glueless assembly of components with examples presented at the stand including the latest aluminium cap for Cartier’s Pasha line. g.pivaudran will once again demonstrate its service expertise at Luxe.
How does this solution meet the needs of brands?
Aluminium is by nature a very environmentally friendly material. In addition, many brands want to move towards recycling, in a new, even more virtuous design trajectory. Our expertise allows us to shape aluminium into any form, to assemble various materials and thus meet our customers’ current needs. Based on recycled aluminium or all-aluminium, the proposed solutions retain the added value of the product.
