- Nisiar is a bio-based, resilient and versatile material, crafted in France from grape marc.
Its single-layer structure, free of any textile backing, delivers strong mechanical performance. Hydrophobic and abrasion-resistant, it develops a distinctive patina over time.
The material offers exceptional freedom in fabrication: it can be sewn, bonded, embossed, printed, wrapped and thermoformed. It is also 100% recyclable.
Each variety draws its colour from the natural pigments of the grape marc itself, no synthetic coating.
Produced in limited editions, in rhythm with the harvest, Nisiar finds its place in packaging, leather goods, watchmaking and furniture.
