- Traille is a company based in the southwest of France, dedicated to giving new value to local wool. Sheep raised for their milk must be shorn once a year for hygiene and comfort reasons, yet this wool is often treated as waste. In response to this issue, Traille is developing new materials while also exploring unexpected uses for wool through innovative repurposing. One notable example is the creation of wool cases in collaboration with Château Cheval Blanc, which enabled the company to bring innovation to the wine and spirits industry. Traille also supplies innovative materials for the textile, leather goods, and furniture sectors.
