Italian label maker Fedrigoni’s Specialty Papers division has unveiled a collection of label papers designed for printers and converters that use wet-glue technology. The technique adheres the labels to the surface using water and glue. Targeting the wine and spirits, beverage and food sectors, the Wet-Glue Collection papers feature barrier properties to withstand humidity, grease and temperature variations. The collection comes in four versions: Performance + (targeting labels for champagne, sparkling wine, wine, spirits, beer and olive oil); Natural, made of alternative or recycled fibers, Classic, which features vellum, laid, embossed and felt-marked textures, and Iconic, a line designed for premium products. The grammage ranges from 70 to 100 g/m².
