Lancôme’s Hypnôse Drama Mascara features an S-shaped brush that captures every last lash, Chanel’s Volume range is encased in a partially recycled aluminum tube (g.Pivaudran) and features a 3D-printed brush (Erpro 3D Factory), and Charlotte Tilbury’s Exagger-Eyes Volume has a curved brush that fits into a glass bottle. The mascara brush is an inexhaustible subject for both brands and their suppliers. Albéa devotes a large part of the resources of its Beauty Lab, an R&D center dedicated to mascaras, lip glosses and eyeliners, located in the Italian factory at Bottanuco, near Milan. “For us, this is a very dynamic market, where we’re seeing some great trends. I’m thinking, for example, of tubing, for which we have quite a few requests at the moment.
