LA DAME A LA LICORNE
Sylvie Benard is a passionate expert on environmental issues and ecological transition. She supports organizations that wish to move towards more virtuous practices and models through her CSR consulting and training activity "La Dame à la Licorne".
She is an agricultural engineer and holds a PhD in microbiology. She managed the Environment Department of the LVMH Group for nearly 20 years. Over the years, she has chaired and led numerous projects within organizations such as ORÉE, Humanité et Biodiversité, the FRB, and the Inspire Institute.
Convinced that the preservation of the environment is a necessity that must influence our choices, Anthony Boule has oriented his career towards environmental engineering.
Five years of consulting experience have allowed him to implement environmental assessment tools for various sectors and structures, and thus to understand their strengths and limitations.
Today, he puts this experience at the service of the development of eco-products. To support the design process, his environmental assessment methods allow, from idea to product, to fuel creativity and guide choices.

Carbiolice, a start-up based in Auvergne, has developed a solution that transforms plant-based plastic into compost.
This solution, called Evanesto®, allows PLA (a biosourced bioplastic) to become 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable, even under domestic conditions. Evanesto® is an enzymatic additive, which is easy to integrate at the time of manufacture of plant-based products, whether they are flexible or rigid. The additive is only activated at the end of the packaging's life, when it is placed in a composter. In less than 200 days, it turns into compost, without residue or toxicity. This solution is aimed at all plastic packaging that cannot be recycled because it is too thin, too complex to recycle or simply soiled. It is a concrete and effective circular economy solution.
