Using concrete examples, the public will be invited to take part in this interactive session. Will you be able to identify the most eco-friendly objects or the best solution among those presented? The speakers will comment on the results and will give the keys to integrate the main principles of eco-design.

At a time when the urgency of the environmental transition is obvious to all, the challenge of decarbonization has been identified and widely addressed: Paris Agreement, modelling of net zero trajectories, consulting tools, energy policies, economic models for feed-in tariffs, investments…

On the other hand, initiatives and regulations targeting resources are terribly fragmented and not very well addressed. In reality, the ecological transition is above all a question of resources: soil, biodiversity, water, materials, chemistry, the transformation of materials into energy and the negative externalities of their exploitation: CO2 and global warming for example; the demographic explosion adding to the crisis. Clearly, in the coming years, companies will have to focus on two critical issues to do better with less: recycling and alternative materials.

The resource is a real call to action. This workshop will focus on the following avenues of action to move forward:

– Identify the biomass needs (current and future) of the various “French key industries/sectors

– Empowering the players in the development and structuring of their supply and R&D policies

Improving recyclability, reducing weight and packaging elements, are all eco-design levers that are now complementary to reuse actions.

Returnable packaging, products offered in bulk or refill, reuse is now part of the solutions. What method should be used to consider reuse alternatives? Which product to start with? With which packaging solution, washing solution, etc.? How to communicate and involve the consumer, who has a key role to play in ensuring the success of this new offer?

How to talk about brand strategy and sustainable development, avoiding greenwashing and respecting the multiple egulations in force?

Communicating with consumers and educating them on sustainable actions without making them bear the responsibility of the sustainable commitment appears more than ever essential for brands in order to convince a growing share of consumers to adopt these new consumption modes.

When start-ups and companies call on investors and seek financing, they are increasingly questioned about their data, risks or opportunities related to environmental and social issues. What is the best way to answer these questions, select the relevant information and get organized internally? This workshop will help you find the first ways to get your teams to collaborate and avoid silos, and to reassure your investors.
