A market leader when it comes to finishing paper and board for high-end packaging, it is always looking for innovative and circular solutions to create sustainable products thanks to its 2030 ICMA Lab, its use of 100% recyclable substrates and its low environmental impact processing. 

The sustainable packaging innovation not to be missed on your stand in 2023 :

ICMA presents its new Metallic collection: pearlescent and metalized papers, ranging from warm to cool hues and from saturated to pastel colors. Many years of experience have enabled the company — which celebrated its 90th birthday this year — to produce unique coatings and an extensive array of embossing patterns, which “transform” paper into metal and mother of pearl with irresistible reflections and glows.  

The collection includes 100% recycled paper, certified with FSC Recycled Credit in a variety of colors — metallic blue, various shades of gold,  gunmetal gray, platinum, and copper.
Metallic is continuing a journey that began with the Kind collection, which aims to finish 100% recycled bases and, where possible, replace virgin cellulose pulp. It has thus created fabulous sustainable papers, whose manufacture does not imply tree felling but instead originates from recycled cellulose. 

The Metallic collection offers colors and embossing patterns that revamp the most emblematic papers produced by ICMA, whose very name — “Industria Carte Metallizzate ed Affini” (Industry of Metallic Paper and Similar) — refers to these products, made using skillful finishing processes.
