What are the main strengths of the Edelmann Group on the packaging market? 

The environmental performance of our products and their full recyclability are two key principles of our work. Whether it is a durable high-quality finish or an individual and unique design, the Edelmann Group has offered every solution expected by the market for over a century, with production sites all over the world.  

 

What new solutions or innovations will you be presenting at the 2022 show? 

We will be showcasing finishing by digital printing which allows, thanks to the latest advances in the field, to create breathtaking designs, without PET lamination. Using this technology on a cardboard base guarantees 100% recyclability without compromising high-end visual effects.  

We will also present a cellophane-free packaging solution. To avoid the use of cellophane, which is commonly used in the beauty sector to protect products, our solution uses tamper-proof closures, developed specifically to meet the requirements of this industry. As such, primary packaging remains single-material, without the use of plastic, thereby simplifying the waste sorting process for the end consumer. 

For our customers, it is the assurance that their products will stand out on the shelves as well as an environmental footprint reduced to a minimum.

We will continue our ‘sustainability journey’: we will continue to consider it holistically and offer our customers and business partners ever better eco-designed and more personalised packaging solutions. The idea of sustainability has always been a core component of our corporate strategy. We prioritise the traceability of raw materials, the optimisation of production processes, and the full recyclability of our products. Additionally, as part of our drive to support the circular economy, we believe in developing plastic-free solutions.
