UNIBAGS, a premium custom packaging expert, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This is the perfect time for us to reaffirm our differentiating values: offer a high and constant quality of packaging and promptly respond to customer constraints.

UNIBAGS strives daily to implement more responsible production methods for its paper bags and boxes, and it obtained FSC® certification for this commitment in 2010.

Since 2014, UNIBAGS has developed a range of custom packaging specifically adapted to e-commerce shipping, choosing to manufacture this packaging in France with a reasonable carbon footprint.

For the 2021 edition, you presented eco-responsible packaging. How did the brands react to this packaging?

For its first time at Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack, UNIBAGS chose to present its e-commerce boxes made in France via a short and responsible circuit. Designed in a unique recycled and recyclable material, this environmentally responsible e-commerce packaging fully meets circular economy requirements.

Beyond the design, custom e-commerce boxes are a solution to the desire of premium brands to enhance the consumer experience through attractive, strong, and reusable packaging. Intended for luxury products, UNIBAGS’s e-commerce packaging is designed to enhance brand expression through personalisation that appeals to the consumer when opening their package.

Any changes or new features to report on this product?

Building on this experience, UNIBAGS has developed its packaging range to respond to more specific issues, such as the development of wedging systems to ship perfume or cosmetics.

Custom-made wedges allow greater modularity of the e-commerce box, depending on product packaging. These removable wedges are personalised with the same print as the box for a coordinated effect, without adding additional material, and the box and wedge are in the same material to optimise recycling.

We have also improved the actual design of our e-commerce boxes in order to reduce assembly time and optimise supply chain stages.
